The current print version of Rapture is trade paperback size. The new version will be C format. This means smaller but also thicker. See the size comparison below. Should be available from Feb 2012.
Overall, Rapture, is a good-starting book, filled with actions and vivid descriptions of the post-apocalyptic world… Good job Mr. Simpson..:D

"Demons are the ultimate bad boy.
This may sound a bit odd, but I love demons.
Humans have always been fascinated by them. They feature heavily in religious texts by many different cultures, sometimes in forms we wouldn’t immediately recognize, but trust me – they’re there. Their form and nature have been used to scare us, warn us, threaten us and tempt us for thousands of years.
I’ve always been drawn to them. My first encounter with them was probably in the Lord of the Rings when I was eight years old. If a Balrog isn’t a demon, then I don’t know what is."
"Would I recommend Rapture? Definitely, if you love demons, battle scenes aplenty and a great ending, you’ll love this!"

Haven't got a kindle (you can download kindle formats onto your PC)? Then how about a nook book! Barnes and Noble selling Rapture for US$2.99. For a limited time.
Now normally I don't think I would have picked up a book like this if I had seen it at the bookstore, but I got the chance to read it through the Goodreads First Reads program. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really enjoyed it. One thing that made the book so enjoyable was the pacing, which I thought was perfect. There would be some moments of downtime, but an action scene would quickly follow so the story never got dull. And what's even better is that Simpson really knows how to write action. I could clearly imagine the whole scene in my head, which just made the reading experience so much better.
