Kiwi author Phillip Simpson strikes publication deal with Month9Books 17 Mar 2014 Word|link Literary Agency is delighted to announce that Phillip Simpson’s Minotaur has been acquired by Month9Books from the US, who plan to publish the novel in paperback and e-book in 2015. Georgia McBride, owner and publisher of Georgia McBride Media Group says, “Minotaur is the perfect mix of history and fantasy holding appeal for readers in search of something different but based in something familiar. Simpson's unique and richly layered story will also appeal to teachers seeking exciting classroom reading materials. We're excited for readers to get their hands on Minotaur .”
Vicki Marsdon from Word|link adds, “I’m thrilled for Phillip and we are looking forward to a long and happy relationship between Word|link and Month9Books. Phillip has worked extremely hard on his writing and this publishing deal has rewarded his efforts. With the valuable input that comes from working with a great editorial team I think we will see Phillip achieve considerable success.

Great news! Thanks to the efforts of my amazing literary agent (Vicki Marson at Wordlink), I now have a book deal with U.S based Month9 books (run by Georgia Mcbride) for my latest YA novel, Minotaur. Month9 specialises in middle grade and YA speculative fiction so I know Minotaur will have a good home with them. Very excited!
